Frequently Asked Questions

How do I pair with my partner?

Open Tili and share your invite code with your partner, or enter the code they sent you. Invite codes expire after 7 days. You can only be paired with one person at a time.

My partner's location isn't updating.

Ask your partner to check that:

• Location access is set to Always (iPhone: Settings → Tili → Location; Android: Settings → Apps → Tili → Permissions → Location → Allow all the time).
• Precise Location is turned on.
• Low Power Mode or battery optimization isn't restricting Tili.
• They have an internet connection, and they haven't force-quit the app.

Who can see my location?

Only your partner. Your location is never shown to anyone else. You can stop sharing at any time by turning off location access or unpairing.

How do I add the widget or Live Activity?

Touch and hold your Home Screen, tap Edit or the + button, search for Tili, and choose a widget.

How do I unpair?

Go to Profile and choose Unpair. Unpairing can't be undone: your shared history, places, drawings, and photos are permanently deleted for both of you.
