These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Hazy at hazy.so, any Hazy mobile application, and related services provided by PIXO Inc. ("Owner," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
At a Glance:
- Hazy is an AI-powered interactive-fiction service that lets you read, role-play, and co-write stories chapter-by-chapter with AI characters.
- The Service is available at hazy.so and, where offered, through Hazy mobile applications.
- All characters, dialogue, and storylines on Hazy are works of fiction. AI characters are not real people, are not licensed professionals, and are not a substitute for human relationships or qualified advice.
- The Service is not a mental-health, medical, legal, financial, or crisis service. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a qualified professional. See "Wellbeing and Crisis Safety" below.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to use the Service.
- You are responsible for the stories, characters, and prompts you create or use. You must not generate or upload content that depicts minors in a sexual manner, that impersonates a real person without consent, that infringes third-party intellectual property, or that constitutes a deepfake or other synthetic media misuse, including non-consensual intimate imagery, election or political deception, voice or likeness impersonation, or fraud. See Section 7.
- The Service is powered by third-party AI APIs. PIXO Inc. is not liable for outputs, IP claims, retention or use of your data by those third parties, or service changes arising from those third-party models.
- Payments are handled by the payment provider or app store identified at checkout. Its terms and privacy notice may also apply.
- The Service does not offer subscription, membership, or other recurring-billing plans. Access to paid features is provided through the purchase of Credits (referred to within the Service as "Sparks"), a virtual item that the User can spend to unlock chapters, advance Stories, and trigger AI generation actions. Credits are non-refundable virtual items, not real currency, and have no cash value. References in these Terms to "Credits" include the same virtual item branded as "Sparks" within the Service interface.

These Terms apply to hazy.so and any Hazy iOS, Android, or other native client application that we make available. Store-specific terms may also apply to a native client application.
You may use the Service only if:
The Service is not available to anyone under 18. A parent or legal guardian cannot agree to these Terms for an underage User. We may deny access, suspend, or terminate an account if it reasonably believes that a User has misstated their age or tried to bypass an age restriction.
